Video shows a Dodge Challenger speeding down a street in North Dallas, switching lanes left and right passing slow ass cars, thinking he’s on a motorcycle wanting to squeeze between two stopped cars at a red light. Maybe he thought he was speeding fast enough that he could just plow through the stopped cars.
Anyway, he slammed into the minivan and the car stopped. The lady in the minivan jumped out, pull the man from the Challenger out of the car, tackled him, threw him on the ground, dragged him into the middle of the street, and proceeded to beat the shit outta him.
If you notice, there’s this kid who walked out of the minivan, and started rolling around on the ground like he’s on fire. I’m really not sure what he was up to.
According to NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth, the guy behind the Challenger is named Artrai Alexander. He stole the car from near by city and was reported to the police by the victim, hence the chase.
Jessica Liesmann, who was driving the minivan, recently lost her 4-year-old son due to a medical condition, was not ready to lose her other son.
“I saw him come behind me and hit me. I turned around and asked my son, ‘Are you okay?’ and he was like ‘Yeah’ – so I jumped out the car and was like, ‘What the hell is wrong with you? You’re in a school zone. What are you thinking?’ He didn’t say anything,” Liesmann said.
“I just hope he knows better and that the whole time he’s in jail thinking about what he did, from the beginning to the end,” Liesmann said. “I don’t know why he did it or what happened, but I hope it replays over and over and over and he feels really stupid for what he did.”
Dallas police said Alexander will be charged with aggravated robbery and evading arrest.
